The Iowa egg farm owned by Jack DeCoster and managed by his son Peter DeCoster was busted with dozens of illegal aliens working there. As a result Jack DeCoster had to pay over $2 million in fines for knowigly hiring workers who had no legal right to work in the United States. The payment was part of a 2003 plea deal with the federal government that allowed his to stay out of jail and keep his horrible buisness.
The plea also required him to allow immigration officials to inspect propterty from time to time.
