Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (GRAW 2) is the ultimate border security video game where you lead an elite U.S. Army special forces group code named Ghosts across the US-Mexico border into the city of Cijudad Juarez, Mexico. The Ghosts are a top secret unit that primarily conducts covert operation in places where the U.S. military does not officially have a presence. Your mission is to take preventative measures against a terrorist group led Mexican rebel Juan de la Barrera and foil his plot to smuggle Ukrainian nuclear weapons into El Paso, Texas using illegal aliens. You have to accomplish this without being detected because the United States Congress is too busy arguing over border security to commit the conventional forces necessary to protect it.
The games timeline starts shortly after the events that took place in the first Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW) in 2013 when the new Mexican civil war escalates dramatically due to a military coup launched by General Ontiveros. General Ontiveros was able to take control of a new shipment of M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tanks given to the Mexican army by the United States. Ontiveros's men then attacked the signing of a treaty in a failed attempt to assassinate the President of the United States and the President of Mexico. The Ghosts eventually killed Ontiveros, but left most of his organization alive to fight another day.
I personally played this game shortly after it was released and I highly recommend it. You get to control all kind of vehicles and remote controlled weapons through non-stop action, but at the same time its a thinking man's game that requires good strategy to get the job done. If you're sloppy then you die and the illegals nuke El Paso.
