Red Dawn Russian Invasion of Small Town USA

It was just a normal day at school for Jed (Patrick Swayze), Matt (Charlie Sheen), and friends in the small town of Calumet, Colorado when class is interrupted by the sight of men falling from the sky with parachutes cushioning their fall as they land in a field just outside their classroom window. Then with students crowding the window all hell breaks loose when their teacher is blown away and the Russian invaders open fire on the school with automatic weapons and rocket launchers.

Jed and Matt find themselves in a mad scramble as they rush to Jed's blue pickup truck grabbing as many of their friends as possible with their classmates dying all around them. Fortunately they escape this monster of all school shootings when the last Russian attempt to stop them with a RPG claims only an just a lone empty school bus.

Eventually they manage to flee to the mountains to start a resistance against the Soviet forces who needless to say were not in the country legally.
