When adding a police category to a rant and rave forum it’s important to remind people of the sacrifices made by good police officers. We can’t think of a better example of good police work than the New York Police Department (NYPD) officers who lost their lives on 9/11 and were memorialized all day yesterday with news coverage of the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Unlike most people they didn’t have the luxury of being glued to their television sets thousands of miles away, but like most people they never expected the towers to actually collapse, so they rushed down there trying to help people who were trapped in the buildings until they collapsed on top of them.

Once the dust cleared 23 NYPD officers were dead and more were left wounded. The survivors kept on working overtime to secure the scene and look for survivors. This is one the best examples of good police work for which the people in the following video should be admired for.
