New Speed Limits in South and North-East Wales

New 50 MPH speed limits will go into effect in some areas of South and North-East Wales, UK on October 4, 2021. Violators will likely receive warning letter at first followed by prosecution if they break it again. Traffic cameras will be used to enforce it so owners of vehicles caught on camera going over 50 MPH at any of the following locations are at risk:

- A494 between the Wales/England border and St David's Interchange at Ewloe in Flintshire

- A483 between junctions 5 and 6 at Wrexham

- A470 between Upperboat and Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf

- M4 between junctions 41 and 42 at Port Talbot
