How to Post Links to Banned Content on Facebook tells you how to bypass one type of Facebook link ban. There are two types of Facebook link bans. The first bans specific users from being able to post links and the other bans all users from being able to post links to specific banned URLs. This guide addresses the latter by telling you how to post links on Facebook to URLs that Facebook has banned. The banning can be bypasses with four easy steps.

1. If you get an error message when trying to post a URL to Facebook titled "Message Failed" stating that "this message contains blocked content that has previously been flagged as abusive or spammy. Let us know if you think this is an error" then you know that your post probably contains a banned URL.

2. Find the banned URL in your post. In our case we used a link to a Pirate Bay torrent at http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/665… after reading about how Facebook banned all its users from posting links to The Pirate Bay.

3. Go to URL shortening website like Tiny URL, paste the banned link into the long URL textbox, and generate a shorter URL (ex: http://tinyurl.com/3n8526o).

4. Post the shortened URL to Facebook.

There you have it. How to bypass a Facebook link ban in just four easy steps. We hope that you will use this tutorial to create a more free speech friendly social network.
