Alabama Immigration Law Loophole for Home Owners

A new law designed to crack down on people hiring illegal immigrants has a loophole that can be exploited by "casual domestic labor". This means that illegal aliens can still work in Alabama as long as they only work for residential home owners. The reason for the loophole was to help home owners save money by not having to screen the help using Homeland Security's E-Verify system.
