Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum owned Texas Governor Rick Perry on immigration during the Republican Presidential Debate on Fox News. Calling out Perry for being soft on immigration was easy for Santorum because all he had to do was point out the fact that Perry signed a bill into law granting in state tuition to illegal aliens. What makes this a real victory for Santorum is that he took it to Perry while admitting to being soft on immigration himself by supporting the presence of illegal aliens in classrooms. His position that they should not get in state tuition is a step up from Perry, but he should oppose allowing illegals to occupy classroom seats that rightfully belong to citizens and legal aliens.

Carnegie Mellon University put together a nice guide containing tips that if properly taught can help employees become safety minded instead of lawsuit seeking. Accidental slips occur when there is too little traction between someones feet and the surface they are walking on. Safety minded employees can avoid slipping by walking carefully, wearing shoes with good traction, and being aware of their surroundings. Businesses can reduce the likelihood of accidental slips and falls by making sure employees know how to stay on their feet, but also by marking slippery surfaces with signs, barriers, or security tape.
