Apocalypse Now Final Cut is here to mark the 40th anniversary of Apocalypse Now starring Martin Sheen, Robert Duvall, Marlon Brando, Lawrence Fishburne, Harrison Ford, Dennis Hopper, Sam Bottoms, and Frederic Forrest. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola in 1979, Apocalypse Now is both one of the best war movies and movies of all time. I absolute love it. It is a timeless film that will still be great in another 40 years. If you have not seen this then you have to see it. I have not seen it in 4K and just seeing this makes me want to blow $22 even though I don't have any acid. About 12 years ago I watched Apocalypse Now on LSD and it was amazing. I can only imagine how great it would be on a big 4K tv. Watching the helicopters attack the village while playing Wagner on loudspeaker followed by a trippy trip through the jungle is really an amazing experience while sober too, so if you have not seen this movie buy this.

Jerry Bruckheimer produced this 1998 hit Enemy of the State starring Will Smith and Gene Hackman in which corrupt National Security Agency (NSA) official is Thomas Brian Reynolds (Jon Voight) is caught on tape killing someone. Unfortunately for Robert Clayton Dean (Will Smith) the proof gets slipped into his bag at a lingerie shop and he becomes the subject of a relentless manhunt. Unfortunately for Dean his pursuers are aided by their ability to abuse NSA computers and satellites capable of hacking into every account he owns and following his every move. Fortunately for Dean he meets Edward Lyle (Gene Hackman) who knows how to hide from government technology.

Crossing Over (2009) Blu-Ray DVD Starring Harrison Ford

Crossing Over is about a group of illegal aliens struggling to get legalized in Los Angeles with Harrison Ford starring as the good Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent Max Brogan and Ray Liotta as the bad immigration cop Cole Frankel. The movie has been compared to the Academy Award winning film Crash in that it examines a diverse group of minorities in Los Angeles, but instead of focusing on racial tensions between Americans it deals with illegal aliens from about as many backgrounds as you can fit into a movie just like Crash, but unlike Crash this movie never really caught on. The main plot outline involves Brogan getting involved with the family of an illegal alien woman who was deported by personally taking her kid back to his grandparents in Mexico before finding the deported alien murdered at the border and going back to deliver the news to the family. Other sub-plots involve an illegal alien from Bangladesh being spied on by the FBI for running an Islamic extremist website, a South Korean kid who tried to stay on the right path before robbing a convenience store, and Cole Frankel agreeing to supply Australian alien wannabe actress Claire Shepard (Alice Eve) with a Green Card in exchange for 2 months of unlimited sex. Set up to look like terrorists the two of them must fight a terror that knows their every move and appears to have control over all the technology around them while still following instructions and avoiding law enforcement.

Years after Bill the Butcher (Daniel Day-Lewis) killed Priest Vallon (Liam Neeson) his only son Amsterdam Vallon (Leonardo DiCaprio) returns to the five points neighborhood of New York City seeking revenge against his father's killer. Vallon was only a small boy when tensions between Irish immigrants and the native born population reached a boiling point. Fed up with the constant stream of new immigrants coming off boats from Europe everyday the native born Americans led by Bill the Butcher challenged the Irish led by Priest Vallon to a bloody fight to the death using fists and melee weapons. Now that Amsterdam Vallon is a young man he seeks to blend in with the native population and gain the trust of Bill the Butcher, so that he can kill him. Along the way he develops a relationship with thieving lady Jenny Everdeane (Cameron Diaz) who also has a history with Bill the Butcher. Eventually external factors impact the characters when the civil war forces a military draft in which many natives could afford to pay a fee while the poor Irish had to sign up and fight. This led to a full scale riot that required the army and navy to intervene after police were overwhelmed.

CIA agent Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) is an illegal alien outed as a Russian spy sent to the United States as part of a Soviet conspiracy to take over America. Salt and her classmates were bred to be assassins at a Soviet spy school for kids until an American girl died in Russia and she was sent back as her replacement after being given plastic surgery to make her look just like the dead American girl. Her classmates were also sent to America and other countries as replacements for other dead kids with instructions to meet influential people and wait for the signal to attack. Salt gets her signal in an interrogation room where she is given the job of interrogating the head of the Soviet program who claims to be a defector when he names her as a Russian spy sent to assassinate the Russian president on a trip to America. CIA agents try to detain her, but her one two punch of sexy running and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) are too much for them to handle. *On a side note Salt reveals the truth about the Kennedy assassination in its plot when they reveal the true identity of the gunman. It turns out that Lee Harvey Oswald was executed after defecting to the Soviet Union in 1959 before a look alike was sent back to kill Kennedy. The success of the Kennedy assassination was the basis for starting the look alike spy replacement. PRICE NOTE: The price listed may change at any time. To make matters worse for all but the lunatics and tabloid desk jockey Robert Hawkins (Kelsey Grammar) the media cannot get enough of Emil (Karel Roden) and Oleg (Oleg Taktarov).

After Rostov destroys Hunter’s house he finds out the hard way that he screwed with the wrong guy and it is only a matter of time until Hunter takes out his whole army with just a couple Uzis and some classic Chuck Norris hand to hand combat skills. Don’t be fooled by images of the Capital Building in Washington D.C. and New York City skyline on the official Invasion USA poster. Neither city actually appears in the film.
