Jakadrien Turner is Not an Illegal Alien After All

Jakadrien Turner was arrested, gave police a fake name belonging to an illegal alien, and ICE deported her to Columbia. Even though ICE took her fingerprints they still failed to identify her somehow, so she ended up getting shipped to Columbia, given a work card by the government, and found a job cleaning houses despite not speaking the language. Eventually her grandma tracked her down on Facebook and tried to help her come home, but the Colombian government is now holding her in a detention center. Although the exact reason for her detention in Colombia is unknown it most likely has to do with her status as an undocumented immigrant.

Texas Governor Rick Perry is Soft on Immigration

Texas Governor Rick Perry's soft stance on immigration was made known to the nation during a Republican Presidential Debate on Fox News. Perry took shots from Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum for approving a bill that grants in state tuition for illegal aliens. Santorum then dropped a bombshell that Perry had advocated for bi-national health insurance between Mexico and Texas showing just how pro-Mexico Perry is. After advocating for a joint heath care program with Mexico it should not be surprising to learn that Perry opposes a border fence. After all protecting America has rarely been a neighborly activity.

Soft on Immigration: Rick Santorum Owned Rick Perry

Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum owned Texas Governor Rick Perry on immigration during the Republican Presidential Debate on Fox News. Calling out Perry for being soft on immigration was easy for Santorum because all he had to do was point out the fact that Perry signed a bill into law granting in state tuition to illegal aliens. What makes this a real victory for Santorum is that he took it to Perry while admitting to being soft on immigration himself by supporting the presence of illegal aliens in classrooms. His position that they should not get in state tuition is a step up from Perry, but he should oppose allowing illegals to occupy classroom seats that rightfully belong to citizens and legal aliens.

Ron Paul Opposes Benefits for Illegal Aliens

Congressman Ron Paul might be misguided in his opposition to a border fence, but at least supports reducing incentives for trying to climb a border fence if one is ever built. In the Republican Presidential Debate on Fox News Ron Paul opposed helping illegal aliens economically saying that we should "attack their benefits" by denying them education, subsides, and citizenship.

Newt Gingrich Supports eVerify for Job Screening

Newt Gingrich voiced his support for eVerify at the Republican Presidential Debate on Fox News today. He believes that businesses should use e-Verify to screen job applicants and verify whether or not they can legally work in the United State. Such screening should make America better by reducing illegal alien employment levels.

Mitt Romney Opposes Benefits for Illegal Aliens

Mitt Romney proved that he knows what America does not need and that is more illegal aliens. Furthermore he stated correctly at the Fox News Republican Presidential Debate on 9/22/2011 that we need to stop giving in state tuition to illegal aliens. He used the University of Texas as an example proving that giving illegals in state tuition is bad for Americans because it makes the cost of earning a degree $100,000 cheaper for a foreign national who no right to be on campus than it would be for an American citizen from another state.

Michele Bachmann Has the Best Immigration Policy

Michele Bachmann just hit the nail on its head when it comes to immigration at the Republican Presidential Debate on Fox News. Specifically she said that immigration laws need to be enforced, the border needs to be secure, and we need to remove incentives the make America a magnet for illegal aliens. Incentives that illegals keep coming here for include employment and government benefits. Benefits such as in state tuition, health care, welfare, and basic utilities. We could easily deter illegals from coming here by cracking down on employers who hire them and not spending tax payer money on them.

Calling Illegal Aliens Immigrants is Economically Bad

Calling illegal aliens undocumented immigrants is bad for the economy. It can never be allowed to catch on because if it does it will threaten to take jobs from hard working Americans and native born citizens in other countries who depend on illegal aliens. Just think of the hard working illegal alien reporting service providers, musicians, online merchants, and others who would suffer from people inappropriately calling aliens immigrants. Just last year I launched one of just a handful of illegal alien reporting services because I realized that I could boost my income by selflessly helping to protect America and other countries by identifying those who have no right to be in those countries in the first place as well as the people who hire them. If it were not for illegal aliens I could never have named my service IllegalAlienReport.com nor could it continue to operate without changing its name and to satisfy what? Aliens many of which can't even read the pages anyway because they are written in English. The great British musician Phil Collins and his original band Genesis could never have produced their hit single "illegal alien" if it were not for illegal aliens because "undocumented immigrant" does not have the same jingle. What kind of royalties would Genesis members make if the title of their song suddenly lost any and all relevance to the aliens they dressed up as in the music video embedded on this page? They wouldn't make much if anything. Now what about the online merchants who work hard to bring you great products like the Illegal Alien Costume which features a prison jump suit, alien mask, and green card. Now apart from the green card which makes no sense because I have never heard of an illegal alien with a valid green card that costume would go from 66% relevant to the subject down to 33% relevant by if illegal were replaced with undocumented making the jump suit lose its relevance before sinking down to zero by replacing alien with immigrant thus making the mask useless for imitating someone in a country illegally. Who would buy an "Undocumented Immigrant Costume" with a space alien mask? Nobody would and that costume maker would need to find a new job. There are others who depend on illegal aliens for their business who are less dependent on proper vocabulary like attorneys, Google, and law enforcement. Lawyers spend good money on ads containing the proper term "illegal aliens" because they know that illegal aliens will pay them good money to help them find loopholes in immigration laws. Search Google for "illegal aliens" and you will find plenty of AdWords customers bidding on the phrase. Finally, law enforcement must constantly employ new officers who would be unemployed if they were not needed to handle calls from people reporting illegal aliens. Conclusion Illegal aliens are, have always been, and always will be illegal aliens no matter how undocumented they may appear to be until they respect the legal citizenship process. Only then will they cease to be illegal aliens and become regular aliens in countries legally.

A Decade of Immigrant Gains and Citizen Losses

According to the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) jobs for immigrants increased while jobs for native citizens decreased between the year 2000 and 2010. During that time period the number of immigrants working increased by 4.5 million while the number of native citizens working went down by 1.1 million. This decrease in jobs for Americans came as the number of working age Americans increased by 13.5 million compared to 6.5 million for immigrants. To sum this up in layman's terms it means that even though immigrants are nowhere close to breeding out the native born population of the United States more of them are working. This could be due to a number of things like them being willing to work for less money, selfish business owners who would rather pick up illegal aliens to do cheap work than pay an honest American, or maybe the Americans just don't feel like working anymore. The latter is highly unlikely, so obviously something needs to be done to fight this. One possible solution would be to require businesses to give preferences to Americans in the hiring process and only hire immigrants if qualified Americans cannot be found. This would limit immigrant workers to jobs nobody wants unless they are highly qualified and offer a skill (ex: doctor, rocket scientist) that companies have a hard time finding.

Four Occupations Dominated by Immigrant Workers

The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) released employment figures identifying four occupations dominated by immigrant workers in the United States. The numbers were for the years 2005 to 2007 and the occupations with percentages of immigrant workers are as follows: Plasterers & Stucco Masons - 56% Graders & Sorters, Agricultural Products - 54% Misc. Personal Appearance Workers - 53% Tailors, Dressmakers, & Sewers - 51% This may appear to be a horrible failure in immigration control, but it should be noted that not all immigrants in this study were illegal aliens and these occupations make up less than 1% of the American workforce. The study also concluded that most natives do not face significant competition from immigrants in the workplace with the exception of low skilled workers often competing for manual labor jobs similar to the ones dominated by immigrants.
