Free housing is available to anyone that brings a tent to Lownsdale Square and Terry Schrunk Plaza across the street from the Multnomah County Detention Center Between the Multnomah County Courthouse and the Mark O. Hatfield United States Courthouse. Technically, no tent is needed since there is a bathroom and several benches to sleep under, but tents are preferred.
