A Welsh doctor was recently struck and killed by a car while cycling on the road. Despite all those years in medical school he wasn't smart enough to figure out that cyclists have no business on the highway. You'd think a doctor his age would have treated enough cyclists injured as a result of their own senselessness that he would give up the habit.

Three weeks after councillors pled for a derelict Welsh church to be demolished it roof collapsed. Bethel Church in Newtown has deteriorated a great deal since it was built in 1875. Fortunately nobody was in the church at the time.

New Speed Limits in South and North-East Wales

New 50 MPH speed limits will go into effect in some areas of South and North-East Wales, UK on October 4, 2021. Violators will likely receive warning letter at first followed by prosecution if they break it again. Traffic cameras will be used to enforce it so owners of vehicles caught on camera going over 50 MPH at any of the following locations are at risk: - A494 between the Wales/England border and St David's Interchange at Ewloe in Flintshire - A483 between junctions 5 and 6 at Wrexham - A470 between Upperboat and Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf - M4 between junctions 41 and 42 at Port Talbot

Retired teacher Norma Ann Morgan died tragically in a four car crash on the A472 at Hafodyrynys on Thursday. The 77 year old man driving the vehicle she was in is still in the hospital.
