The United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) Visa Services website (linked to above) is the British government’s official online resource for visa services and information. There you can take the “Do I need a visa?” online quiz that will tell you if you are or are at risk of becoming an illegal alien in the United Kingdom. If the quiz tells you that you need a visa or you already knew that you needed a visa and did not take the quiz you can also apply for a visa online right there. They also have a frequently asked questions page exists just in case you have any question about the website.

The United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) is responsible for enforcing immigration and customs laws throughout the remnants of the British Empire. Their website (linked to above) has instructions for reporting illegal immigrants and the smuggling of goods that can be summed up as sending email to two places although you can call 800 59 5000 to report smuggling.
